William "Bill" Martin, 82, of Lodi and previously of Pleasant Hill, passed away on June 27 surrounded by his family after a long illness. He was born in Ronan, Montana, on June 11, 1930. He served in the Air Force then worked his entire life as an electrical contractor. He proudly built the home his family lived in. He was the owner of City Electric in Concord. He loved Oakland's A's, Raiders and Warriors. With a compassion for all people, he lived life to its fullest.

Bill is survived by his wife, Joan of 59 years; daughters Lori (Mark) Bryan, Carla (Jack) Casey and daughter-in-law Pam Martin; grandchildren, Jamie, Joannie, Craig, Kari, Cindy, Russ, McKenna and Austin; great grandchildren Noah and Amelie. He was preceded in death by his son John, sister and brother. Services will be held at a later date.
