Willadean Turner Redfearn Obituary
Willadean Turner was born on March 4, 1924, in Stone County, Missouri. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Stockton for 50 years. She taught children's Sunday school for 15 years. She also taught adults and was a Bible study leader. She was a co-owner of Redfearn Trucking for 60 years, where she was employed until she was in her eighties. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Misquez (David) of Orangevale, CA; sister, Imogene Keithley of Nixa, MO; sister-in-law, Bonnie Redfearn of Carson City, NV; 11 grandchildren; 39 great and great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, nieces, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett; sons, Don and Larry; daughter, Wanda Shockley; granddaughter, Robyn Vallerga; and grandson, Douglas Taylor. Her hobbies were writing poetry/children's stories, reading, and crocheting. She crocheted many afghans for her children, and for the Pregnancy Help Center in Stockton. Friends are invited to visit Monday, June 9, 2014, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A private graveside will be held at Cherokee Memorial Park on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 3535 El Dorado Street, Stockton, CA 95204. In lieu of flowers, donate to the First Baptist Church Christian School, located at the above address.
