Ronald hPhillip Berg Obituary
After a long courageous battle with Leukemia Ronald Phillip Berg made his journey home to his Lord and Savior on August 14th, 2014 at the age of 72. Ronald was born on March 31, 1942 in Maryville, Missouri, the son of Maurice and Wilma Berg.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Karen L. Berg; daughter Nicole Blankenship; son Todd Berg; son in law, Bud Blankenship; grandchildren, Kaylee Blankenship and Jessica Blankenship; sister, Clara Conrad; and brother, Ralph Berg.
Phil was raised in Lodi, CA and attended St. Anne's grade school, Lodi High School, and received his business degree from Stanislaus State. He was a devoted and loving husband, friend, and family man who enjoyed golf, family trips, his church, cabin living, helping others, waste disposal, driving about town, and good conversation.
A celebration of Phil's life will be held at St. Joachim's Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 20. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10 a.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. There is no visitation and committal is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in his name to Stanford Medicine Cancer Institute, Development Services, P.O.
