Ann Marie Leach

1934 - 2008 Obituary Condolences
Ann was a loving wife and mother as well as a kind and generous friend. She was active in several social clubs, including the Lodi Women's Club and Lodi Newcomers Club as well as an organizer of the Stockton Nip and Sip group. She loved playing bridge and entertaining her many friends. Her other passions include traveling with her husband and oil painting. She always made people smile.
Prior to her retirement, Ann worked as a switchboard operator at the DMV, a keyboard operator at Spreckles Sugar, and as a office manager for the Delta Charter and later as a travel agent.
Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren, whom consider her both mentor and an example of how to live life to the fullest. She was a loyal friend to many, and she generously supported many local charitable organizations.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Carl W. Leach of Stockton; two sons, Jon Steele and his partner, Sherry Stutz, of Manteca, and Brad Steele and his wife, Sharon, of Stockton, three grandchildren, Jamie, Michael and Nicholas; one great-grandchild, Leah Ann; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the youngest of nine children. They were raised in Ontario, OR. She was the last to survive.
Her love will always be remembered. She smiled her way through life.
Cremation will be followed by a memorial service for her many friends, which will be held at the River Mill, 1672 W. Bowman Road, French Camp, CA 95231 on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.
Arrangements are by the Neptune Society of Northern CA – Stockton Branch.
