Johnny Ferrero, Jr., 83, of Lodi passed away Wednesday evening January 16, 2013. He was born March 5, 1929 in Lodi where he attended local schools and graduated from Lodi Union High School.

He was born into a farming family and remained a farmer for 65 years.
Johnny enjoyed being with his family, especially, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, gardening, making wine, salami, sausage, prosciutto and crabbing and clam digging at Coos Bay, OR.
Preceded in death by his parents: John and Catherine Ferrero and by a brother, George Ferrero.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Jennie Ferrero. Two Sons: Jeff (Janice) Ferrero of Lodi, Jerry (Kathy) Ferrero of Lodi. Grandchildren: Candace (Nick) Jones, Christy (Chris) Frank, Brian, Lisa and Nicole Ferrero. Great Grandchildren: Sydney and Trent Jones, Allison and Sean Frank. Brothers: Frank Ferrero and Fred (Elene) Ferrero. Sister-in-laws: Rosemarie Ferrero of Lodi. Ola (Harold) Barker of Sparks, NV. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Johnny's wishes were that there is no visitation. Services and entombment will be private in the Sierra View Mausoleum under the direction of the Donahue Funeral Home.
