Robin Duane Rushing, loved by his children, grandchildren, family and friends, died Sunday, March 17, of cancer. Born in Stockton, Calif., September 17, 1950, Robin was a longtime Lodi resident who enjoyed trout fishing, rock n' roll, playing his guitar and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Also interested in national and local politics, Robin was often found at Lodi City Council meetings, advocating for access to medical marijuana and the rights of the disabled.
Robin is survived by son Steven Rushing and daughter-in-law Sarah, grandchildren, Logan and Daphnie, daughter Amanda Rose, sister Dorothy Collett, brothers Jack, Jim, Mark and Rocky and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
During his final days, family and friends visited Robin to share stories, memories and provide loving care. Those closest to Robin will celebrate his life at a private gathering.
