Harvey Bettenhausen age 71 passed away on March 19, 2013 at Saint Joseph's Hospital after a short illness.

Harvey was born in Wishek North Dakota May 17, 1941. He moved to California in 1966 and lived in Stockton, Sutter Creek, and his final home in Lodi.
He was a machinist. He retired from SMUD. He traveled the US working nuclear power plants and refineries.
Harvey loved riding his motorcycles and sharing stories with friends. His hardest decision each morning was "which Harley to ride to what favorite resturant for breakfast" (Mel's Diner in Jackson) or (Country Cafe in Lockeford) or just riding up to Knight Rides in Jackson.
Harvey had a very special love for all his grandchildren and they loved him so much. He will be missed by so many!
He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lydia Bettenhausen (Brother) Kenneth Bettenhausen.
Harvey is survived by his wife Theresa Bettenhausen, son Ben Bettenhausen (MJ), daughter Kimberly Beede, stepsons Michael Bender (Jennifer), Steve Bender (Kristie), Doug Trevathon. Sisters Virginia Miller (Augie), Dianna Ostern (Oscar), Sylvia Besser (Sam), brother Wesley Bettenhausen (Georgia), and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the caring and loving staff at Saint Joseph's ICU. Thank you to our many friends and family for all of your prayers and help.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sat. April 6th at 10:30 AM at Faith Community Church, 18621 N. Hwy 99 Lodi, Calif.
