Lelan "Lee" Harold Crawford passed away in Lodi on April 14th, 2013 at the age of 95. He was born in Alliance, Nebraska on July 13, 1917. Lee was a loving father, step-father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him. He had a special love for the Lord that he loved to share with everyone.
Lee was a WWII veteran, serving in the US Army from 1942-1946 stationed in England as an airplane mechanic. He owned and operated a dairy in Acampo for many years. After selling the dairy he worked at Connell Motors as a diesel mechanic until his retirement in 1979. After retirement he worked part time with Al Thomas Trucking.
He is survived by his daughter Linda Reiswig (Kerby) of Lodi, Step-Daughter Kathy Fredricks (Will) of Elko, NV, Step-Sons Claude Hutchinson of Manteca and Tom Rosendale of Florida. His siblings Edith Bartels, June Powell (Bill), and Raymond Crawford (Dorothy). Grandchildren Sandy Duree (Jeremy), Jason Crawford, Tera Vance (Jason) and Dave Reiswig (Tracie). Step-Grandchildren Candice Condie (Kurt), Kara Folmar (Mike), Jay Hutchinson (Darlene), Ty Hutchinson and Katie Hutchinson, Tom Rosendale and Stephen Rosendale. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Bonnie Crawford, wife Evelyn Crawford (1986) and 2nd wife Kathern Crawford (2006), son Sid Crawford (2007), sister Helen Crawford Lewis and brother Gene Crawford.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 11:00 am at Cherokee Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to 3ABN (Christian Radio Station), PO Box 220, West Frankfort, IL 62896.
