Mrs. Anna Marshall, 84, died April 30, 2013, at Lodi Memorial Hospital from complications of heart problem. She was born Anna Elizabeth Hanscom in San Francisco on June 27, 1928, and lived in Daly City from 1952 to 1982. She attended and graduated from Girls' High School in San Francisco and married Mr. Marshall at Our Lady of Lourde's Church at Hunters' Point in San Francisco on January 31, 1947. In her early years she worked for Prudential Life Insurance in San Francisco as a bookkeeper. They moved to Galt in 1982.

Mrs. Marshall was an active parishioner at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, a member of Daughters of Isabella, First Friday Club and Women's Auxiliary of VFW. She was a homemaker who excelled at knitting and embroidery work and enjoyed pottery crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles E. Marshall of Galt; son, John Marshall of Martinez; daughter, Charlene Jobe of Acampo; sister, Lydia Marshall of Hesperia; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren .
A celebration of her life will be held at Ben Salas Funeral Home, May 11, at 2 p.m. Committal will be private at Galt Cemetery.
