Margie Brockman, award winning realtor, astounding equestrian, beloved mother and wife, and accomplished traveler, lost her battle with liver cancer on Wednesday, September 11, 2013.|
Margie was an amazing individual. After years of being a banker, homemaker, and secretary for her church she finally found her calling with Century 21 M&M and Associates where she loved making people's dreams come true by placing the key to their new home in their hands.
She met the love of her life, Ed Brockman, at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales where they were both attending college. They were married on June 27, 1980, and moved to Texas to begin their adventurous life together. Five years later they were blessed by a daughter, Jennifer, and later their two sons, Bill and Joe.
A Christian through and through, she believed in serving others any way she could. Devotion to God and giving to others was a part of her daily life.
She was a treasured sister to Lilli Aman and Kathie Yenulis, as well as to her Brockman in-laws, and a loving daughter of her mother, Londa Downing.
Margie was intelligent, caring, witty, and wise.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on Saturday, September 21st, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 Fairmont Ave. Lodi, CA.
