PINEVILLE, W.Va. — Mark Dale Robinson, 51, of Pineville, passed away Sun., Nov. 17, 2013, following a sudden illness.
Born Jan. 31, 1962, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a son of Charles Dale Robinson of Brenton and the late Margaret Brown Robinson.
Mark was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling. He was the former owner of Pineville Pizzamingo and was last employed at Alpha Natural Resources, Alpha No. 2 Mine.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lou Ann Robinson.
Additional survivors include his wife, Debbie Paynter Robinson; son, Mark David Robinson of Pineville; daughter, Keri Williams and her husband, Terry, of Moundville, Ala.; the love of his life, his grandson, Kason Williams (aka "Big K") of Moundville, Ala.; sisters, Sherri Stratton and her husband, Timmy, of Gilbert, Beth Robinson of Hammond, La., and Ashley Robinson of Brenton; special nieces and nephews: Sara Stratton, Jessica, Thomas and Timothy Paynter, Jaime Paynter, Christopher Runyon and Kelly Dawn Paynter; his two dogs, Reese (aka "Buck") and Katie Sue, and his cat, Kenzie Grace
A celebration of Mark's life will be held at 1 p.m. Fri., Nov. 22, at Claypool United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rick Brown officiating. Entombment will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Matheny
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday in the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel at Pineville.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
