HURRICANE, W.Va. — Bonnie Jean Lawrence Harden, 59, of Hurricane, passed away Sun., January 12, 2014, at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston.
Born March 3, 1954, she was a daughter of the late Edgar Lawrence and Sylvia Mae Lawrence Adkins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a stepfather, Daniel Adkins; brothers, Frederick, Edgar Jr., Jackie and Jerry Dale Lawrence, and a sister, Donna Marie Lawrence.
Bonnie was a homemaker and had a heart of gold and was a very loving wife and mother. She and her husband Jack enjoyed dancing and doing all types of dances. They enjoyed vacationing together and fishing.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Harden Sr.; sons, Jimmy Ray Emery of Godby Heights and Jimmy Michael Harden, at home; stepsons, Jack (Judy) Harden II of Chapmanville and Robert Harden of Beckley; sisters, Audrey (Sonny) Harvey of Culloden, Mary Joann (James) White of Logan, Madeline Gallo of Orlando, Fla., and Priscilla Lawrence of Orlando, Fla.; brothers, Jesse (Calvinia) Lawrence of Longwood, Fla., Tommy (Debbie) Lawrence of Peach Creek, Jimmy (Debbie) Lawrence of Hurricane, and Billy Lawrence and Michael (Brenda) Lawrence, both of Logan,, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at noon Thurs., Jan. 16, at James Funeral Home Chapel with the Minister Keniman Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
