DINGESS, W.Va. — Donnetta Vance Baisden, 63, of Dingess, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 13, 2013.
Born August 2, 1950, at Holden, she was a daughter of Lonzo Vance of Dingess and the late Audrey Preece Vance. Also preceding her in death was her father-in-law, Joe S. Baisden
Donnetta was a retired bus driver for Mingo County Schools and a member of Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church.
Additional survivors include her husband, Kennith Baisden; two daughters, Melissa (Wendell) Moore of East Lynn and Donna (Jason) Booth of Dingess; one son, Kennith Baisden Jr. (companion Kayla Meade) of Breeden; eight grandchildren: Tyler Moore of East Lynn, and Kara, Jason Jr. and Aaron Booth, Michael and Ashley Vance, and Melissa Dawn and Reagan Baisden, all of Dingess; one sister, Christine (David) Messer of Breeden; one brother, Lonnie (Rosemary) Vance of Eustic, Fla.; mother-in-law, Beatrice Baisden of Dingess; additional in-laws, Tildia and Arthur May, Thelma Tennant, Carles and Rosa Baisden, Curtiss and Henny Baisden, Eliza and Gid Vance, Joann and Terry Glidewell, Lou and Hank Czyzewski, Edna and Tommy Lucas, and Gail and Harry Runyon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 17, at Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Darrell Newsome and Rev. James Ed Baisden officiating. Burial will follow in Dillon-Prince Cemetery at Dingess.
Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Friday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Patrick, Anthony and Timmy Browning, Don Hatfield, Ritchie Booth, Glenn Runyon and Jason Biggerstaff.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Runyon, Arthur May, Lonnie R. Vance, Earsel Vance Jr., Tommy Spaulding and Doug Vance.
