LOGAN, W.Va. — Jack C. Chrislip, 59, of Logan, passed away Wed., Nov. 13, 2013, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born December 29, 1953, in Logan, he was a son of the late Asberry and Betty Henderson Chrislip. Also preceding him in death was one sister, Rebecca Bias.
Jack was a truck driver for most of his life. He loved music and played in numerous bands. He loved to cook and was a loving and devoted father and loved his family above all else.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 42 years, Deborah Alberts Chrislip; three sons, Michael (Amanda) Chrislip, Chris (Jennifer) Lucas and J.J. Chrislip, all of Logan; three daughters, Kandi (Aggie) Damron of Holden, Jackie Lucas of Rossmore and Randi Wilson of Logan; grandchildren, Scottie, Alijah, Makiah, Ian, Bryson, Savannah, Natalie and Darah; one brother, Jimi (Lesley) Chrislip of Whitman, and one sister, Connie Henry of Logan.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Mon., Nov. 18, at Honaker Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Austin Shultz officiating. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow after the services Monday.
Friends may call on the family from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
