LOGAN, W.Va. — Janice Gay Jarrell Chafin, 77, was born September 1, 1935, in Logan, a daughter of the late Edward and Mae Jarrell of Cow Creek. She departed this life Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Trinity Healthcare in Logan after a long illness.

Janice was a 41 year resident of Cole Street where she enjoyed reading, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
