Tilden Parsons

SWITZER, W.Va. — Tilden Curtis Parsons, 64, of Switzer, departed this life Mon., Nov. 18, 2013, in CAMC General Division in Charleston.

Born May 16, 1949, in Landville, he was a son of the late Paul and Myrtle Ball Parsons. Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Marvin and Gene Parsons, and two sisters, Wilma Mooneyham, and Pauline Trent.

He worked as a coal miner.

Those left to cherish his memories include four sons, Jason (Angela) Lambert, Denny (Nicole) Lambert, Paul (Chrissy) Lambert and Gene (Kerri) Lambert; one daughter; Kimberly Lambert; five sisters, Loraine (Billy) Mullins, Wanda (Darrell) Graham, Christine Coors, Janice Ellis and Madeline (Ed) Mooneyham; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 21, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to service Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
