CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. — Sharon Diane Chafin, 41 of Chapmanville, departed this life Thurs., April 24, 2014, at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
Born August 27, 1972, in Logan, she was a daughter of Alfred and Mabelene Conley of Chapmanville.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Elzie and Dollie Adams Conley, Rodolph Conley and Miller Irene McCoy; three uncles, Freddie, Lushen and Harry Conley; one aunt, Kathy Conley, and two cousins, Delayna Elhart and Casandra Harvey.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her companion, Michael Chafin of Logan; one daughter, Makayla Osborne of Chapmanville; one son, Jamie Elkins of Chapmanville; two sisters, Loretta (Charles) Pennington of St. Albans and Alfreda Lynn (Danny) Butcher of Lexington, Ky.; one niece, Sarah Leanne Butcher; two nephews, Kevin Ray and Mark Cook, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Mon., April 28, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Robinette officiating. Burial will follow at Conley-Adams Cemetery at Brushy Fork of Chapmanville.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
