DANVILLE, W.Va. — Brian W. Chambers, 40, of Danville, went home to be with Jesus Mon., July 28, 2014, at his residence.
Born June 24, 1974, in Madison, he was a son of Roy and Janet Duty Chambers.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Stewart and Lucy Duty, and paternal grandparent, Roy Chambers Sr.
Brian loved church and working with the church youth. He enjoyed writing songs for the Lord and singing. He enjoyed working and playing on the computer. He loved his children with all his heart and spending time doing things with them. Brian was a Sunday School Superintendent, teacher, minister, and youth leader.
Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Sabrina; one son, Jacob; one sister, Sara; and many friends and loved ones.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sat., August 2, at Church of God in the Name of Christ with Johnny Meade officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at Freeman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Freeman Funeral Home at Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
