Corbo, Frank C.
Frank C. Corbo of Nanuet, NY and formerly of Yonkers, NY died peacefully on February 23, 2013 at the age of 84. Frank was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on January 4, 1929 to Anthony and Genevieve Corbo. During WWII he served in the U.S. Marine Corps reaching the rank of corporal. He attended the School of Visual Arts in NYC and for many years he was an art director for Avon Products. Frank was an active member of the Dunwoodie Golf Club and after retiring he moved to Sun City Center, FL. Beloved husband of Elisa "Lee" (Martinelli) Corbo. Devoted father of Karen (Joseph) Napolitano and Frank (Sara) Corbo Jr. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Pennella, Lorie Napolitano and Christian Corbo and great-grandfather of Olivia Pennella. Dear brother of Viola Junjulas and Anthony, Angelo and Vincent Corbo and the late Angela Rose DiMicco, Phyllis Cecere and Joseph Corbo. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY on Thursday from 4-8PM. Funeral mass at St. John the Baptist Church on Friday at 10:45 AM.
