Chambers, Hugh "Scotty"
Hugh "Scotty" Chambers died November 15, 2013, at the age of 89 at the Schaffer Extended Care Center in New Rochelle.
He was a WWII disabled Veteran who met his wife Vivian while convalescing in Atlantic City in 1946. They were married a year later. Hugh was a volunteer firefighter for several years in Larchmont, NY, a little league baseball coach and administrator, and a salesman at Bloomingdales in NY for 25 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Vivian, for 25 years. He leaves behind two sons, Gordon (Virginia) of Yonkers, NY, and Wayne (Kristine) of Citrus Springs, FL; and two grandchildren, Carly and Bryan.
Funeral Services are private. Interment will take place at Kensico Cemetery.

Mr Chambers one of my first LL coaches; as a teammate of Gordy and Wayne on the Panthers back in the day I remember many good times...guys I'm sorry for your loss
