Betz, Jr., George J. George J. Betz, Jr., 88, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died May 29, 2016. He was born April 15, 1928 in Port Chester, NY to the late George J. Betz, Sr. and Hazle C. Betz. He was raised and educated in Port Chester and graduated from the Port Chester High School in 1945. He was a seaman in the Merchant Marine from 1945 to 1955 and he also served two years in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged as a Specialist Third Class AUS in June 1957. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Mary, his daughter, Christine Banuls (David) of Pine Bush, NY and son John (Kathleen O'Connor) of Ayer, MA. Visitation will be 6-8PM on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be 11AM on Thursday June 2, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment is private. Bunyan, Margaret T.*  
Bunyan, Margaret T. Margaret T. Bunyan (Browne), 79, of Haverstraw, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 26, 2016. She was born on July 5, 1936 in Co. Clare Ireland to Stephen & Catherine (Cooney) Browne. Margaret married the love of her life Michael J. Bunyan on Nov. 10, 1956, he predeceased her in 1985. Margaret worked at Helen Hayes Hospital for 20 years providing exemplary care to all of her patients. Margaret was known for her unshakeable faith and her ability to pray unceasingly. She treasured her visits to the Adoration Chapel and spending time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. She truly reflected the Light of Christ. She was a member of the Pioneer Association (Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart). She became a Pioneer as a young woman and remained true to her pledge for life. She was also a member of the Congregation of the Children of Mary. It takes for its model the spirituality of St. Louis de Montfort and his ideal of total consecration to Jesus through Mary. Margaret enjoyed listening to traditional Irish music, set dancing, she loved the Irish language and spoke Gaelic fluently. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her daughter Margaret Delaney, granddaughter Brianna Bunyan and her sister Kathleen Downes. Margaret is survived by her sister Mary (John) Scanlon, brother Thomas Browne, loving children Stephen (Margaret), John, Charles (Joan), Catherine, Mary (Rick) Gustavsen, her adored grandchildren Lauren, Michael, John, Brian, Christopher, Mark, Kevin, Erick, Lily, Alexa, David and her 9 cherished great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces & nephews and faithful friend and companion Little Fat Jack her Irish Jack Russell Terrier. The family will receive friends & relatives on Sunday, May 29th from 6-9 PM and Monday May 30th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Margaret on Tuesday, May 31st at 10 AM in St. Peters Church in Haverstraw with interment to follow in St. Peters Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Margaret's memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 200 Mamaroneck Ave., Suite 603, White Plains, NY 10601.

Catherine Cavalieri AGE: 93 • Tarrytown Catherine Elizabeth Mosiello Cavalieri We mourn the death of our beloved Catherine Elizabeth 'Kitty' a long-time resident of the Tarrytowns. She passed away on May 29, 2016. Born on February 23, 1923 in Tarrytown, NY to Concetta and Stanislau Mosiello, Catherine was one of thirteen children. She graduated from Washington Irving High School. On June 4, 1944, she married John Cavalieri of North Tarrytown where they remained until moving to Pleasantville in 1960. They were married for 54 years. She is survived by her six children and spouses, Jo (Peppy) Baker of Scottsdale, AZ; Rita Jackson of Fernandina Beach, FL; Patricia Cavalieri of Tarrytown, Carol Arrucci (Ray) of Ossining, John Cavalieri (Anne Marie) of Holbrook, NY and Joseph Cavalieri of New York, NY; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; sister, Gloria Viviano, Dania, FL; brother- in-law, Angelo Cavalieri, Briarcliff Manor and sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Anne Mosiello, Newport News, VA and Gloria Cavalieri, Sleepy Hollow. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1998, daughter Catherine in 2001, three brothers and eight sisters. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741. The family will greet relatives and friends from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at Coffey Funeral Home. Mass for Catherine will be at 10:00 am Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church Sleepy Hollow. Cirulli, Ralph B. Ralph B. Cirulli, 93, a resident of Port Chester died May 29, 2016. He was born in the small town of Schiavi D'Abruzzo, Italy on May 13, 1923 to the late Pietro and Nicolina Porfilio Cirulli. He came to the US at the age of seven. He had many talents, including drawing and music. Ralph served in the US Military twice-once during W.W. II in the Army and again during the Korean War as a military band member at March Field Air Force Base in California. He played the saxophone, percussion and the B flat baritone horn. After returning from the service, he formed the Port Chester American Legion Band which played all over Westchester County and further afield for many years. Ralph also had a construction company and put his artistic talent to good use in beautiful home renovations he made. Mr. Cirulli is survived by his beloved wife, Marsha, his brother Domenick P. Cirulli, his four loving children from his first marriage, Dr. Richard R. Cirulli, Phd., Dr. Christopher Cirulli, M.D., Lisa (Cirulli) Jeleneck and husband Matt, Ralph E. Cirulli, and his 10 loving grandchildren Kim and Mary Cirulli, Katie, Michael, Kristen and Benjamin Cirulli, Lauren Swirski Berry, Steven Swirski and Heather Swirski, Brianna Cirulli. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday June 2, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Friday June 3, 2016 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment is private. Curtin, William E.*  
Curtin, William E. William E. Curtin of Suffern, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2016 surrounded by his devoted family. Bill was born on January 31, 1948 to Daniel and Margaret Curtin and grew up in the Bronx, NY. He served honorably in the United States Navy on the USS Ranger and served two tours in Vietnam. In l977 he moved to Suffern, where he resided until his death. Prior to his retirement, Bill was employed as a general mechanic at Helen Hayes Hospital for over 30 years. He was a fervent advocate for the rights of workers, was the long-time president of CSEA Local 302, and active in many state and national labor causes. He was a lifelong fan of the NY Giants, and enjoyed gardening and summers in Belmar, NJ. For the last five years he enjoyed his weekly playdates in his favorite role as Papa. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Gail, his daughter Danielle of Suffern, NY, his son William, Jr. and wife Christine of Ramsey, NJ, granddaughters Julia and Lillian, his sister Sally (John) Hunker of Bronx, NY, his sisters-in-law Florence (Pete) Mohan of Suffern, NY, Lorraine (Bill) Goonan of Saugerties, NY, Nancy Marano of Holmdel, NJ, Kathy (John) Masserano of Bronx, NY, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel and brother-in-law Martin Marano. Bill's life will be celebrated at a Mass at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, NY on Friday, June 3, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Fred Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visiting will take place at Scarr Funeral Home Route 202 in Suffern, NY on Thursday, June 2 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Bill has requested that donations be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.stjude.org
