Schlichtman, James C.*  
Schlichtman, James C. James C. Schlichtman, a longtime resident of Ossining, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015. He was born on September 28, 1919 and was the son of the late James and Ann (Brennen) Schlichtman. He was 95. James served honorably in the U.S. Army during WW II with the 87th Infantry Div. and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the American Legion Parker Bale Post, where he served for many years as the Chaplain. He was also a longtime communicant of St. Augustine's Church. Mr. Schlichtman is survived by his three children Barbara (Tom) Doorley, James and Marion (Daniel) Whalen; his sister Ruth (Bob) Stanley; 7 seven grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Marion in 1990, his siblings Ethel Bale and Harold Schlichtman. Visiting hours will be held at Dorsey on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Augustine's Church. The interment will follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery. Spadaro, Clara*  
Spadaro, Clara Clara Spadaro passed away peacefully on July 1, 2015. She was born November 13, 1920, in Calabria Italy. A lifelong resident of White Plains, she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and generosity and will be endlessly missed. She is survived by her children, JoAnn (Tony) Crino of Bristol, CT, Prudence (John) Griffin of White Plains, NY, Diane Healy of Hollywood, CA, and Dominick Spadaro of White Plains, NY and 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Prudence Tino and her loving husband Louis Spadaro. The family will receive visitors on Sunday July 5th from 3-7pm. Singer, Richard A. Richard A. Singer, a longtime resident of Irvington died June 29, 2015 at the age of 65. He was born in Tarrytown on May 19, 1950 and was the son of Paul and Antonia Neuwirth Singer. Richard graduated from St. Theresa's School, Stepinac High School and Fairfield University. Richard and his family were longtime parishioners of Holy Cross Church and he served as an Altar Boy at St. Theresa's Church. Richard remained active with Stepinac and enjoyed being involved with their theater group. Richard is survived by his brother Paul of Sleepy Hollow; his niece Tara (Jason) Platt of Hopewell Junction and his grandnephews Jakob and Lukas Platt. He is also survived by his uncle Stephen Karac as well as many cousins. Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday from 4PM to 8PM. Sarracino, Adele M. Mrs. Adele Marie Sarracino, 82, wife of the late Carmine Anthony Sarracino, Sr., entered into rest on June 20th, 2015. A native of New Rochelle, New York, Mrs. Sarracino resided in Augusta for her last seven years. She was a practicing Catholic, a member of the Italian America Club, a member of the Red Hat Society, and an avid bowler.
