Giaco, Patricia A. Patricia A. Giaco, 65, of Carmel, NY passed away on January 17, 2015. Mrs. Giaco is survived by her devoted husband, Emil, her loving daughter, Andrea (Chris) Piefer, and her sister Kathleen (Sam) DeLeo. A visitation will be held on Thursday, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512 (845) 225-3672. Services and interment will be private.

Gibbs, Lee*  
Gibbs , Lee Lee Gibbs died on January 17, 2015 at the age of 94. Leonore was the daughter the late Samuel and Mollie Ephraim, she married George W. Gibbs in 1942 and they resided in Peekskill for nearly 57 years. She graduated from James Madison High School in Brooklyn before the family moved to Peekskill in 1938. As the bookkeeper for Gibbs Men's Clothing Store, she worked alongside her beloved late husband George and brother-in-law, the late Edward M. Gibbs. During this time, she was active in the Peekskill community serving as a First Hebrew Congregation Sisterhood President and a long-time member and officer of Hadassah. She helped establish and served as the first President of the Friends of the Field Library and was an active volunteer on special projects. After retiring to Florida, she resided in Coconut Creek where she served on the Board of Congregation Beth Shalom and also enjoyed traveling with friends. In 2007, she moved back to the New York area and continued her leadership and volunteer activities. At the time of her death, she was a resident of the Country House in Yorktown Heights. She is survived by her daughter Barbara and son-in-law Jack Levitz of Cortlandt Manor; grandson Mitchell Levitz of Cortlandt Manor and granddaughter Stephanie and her husband Rabbi David Englander of Boca Raton, FL; and her great grandchildren Yaffa, Zev and Ayal Englander, and Aderet Fishbane and her father Professor Eitan Fishbane of Teaneck, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband George W. Gibbs (1999), daughter Marjorie Gibbs (1967) and granddaughter Leah Levitz Fishbane (2007). She is also survived by her sister-in-law Frances S. Gibbs and three nephews. A funeral service will be held at the First Hebrew Congregation in Peekskill on Monday, January 19th at 12:00 noon at the First Hebrew Congregation in Peekskill with interment at King David Cemetery in Putnam Valley, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory would be appreciated to The Field Library in Peekskill or The First Hebrew Congregation. Arrangements are by Hellman Funeral Home.

Giordano DDS., Alexander*  
Giordano, Alexander Dr. Alexander Giordano, DDS. Entered into rest, on Thursday January 22, 2015 at the age of 93yrs. He was born on September 17, 1921 in the Bronx to Remo and Adelaide (nee Lauratano) Giordano. Dr. Giordano graduated Georgetown University and served in the United States Air Force during WWII. He married Teresa (nee Avino) Giordano on September 14, 1947. The couple moved to Yonkers where they lived and worked for over 50 years. Teresa died in 2005. Dr. Giordano was a member of the American Dental Assoc. and the 9th District Dental Society. He retired in 1992. Al and his wife loved to gather with their children, family, and friends. Al enjoyed collecting wine, traveling to the Caribbean, and spending time at his home on Cape Cod. Dr. Giordano is survived by his 3 loving sons, Remo Giordano, Alexander and his wife Dorothy Jean, Dr. John and his wife Laura Giordano. His dear sister Rita Capasso; his cherished grandchildren, Karen & Alex Dziena, Kristen & Michael Marino, Alexander, Mark, John Michael and Luke Giordano and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 am to Noon at the BEECHER FLOOKS FUNERAL HOME, 418 Bedford Rd., Pleasantville, NY. His funeral mass is scheduled for 1:00PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with the interment to follow in the family plot. Goldreich, Joseph D.*  
Goldreich, Joseph D. (1925-2015) Joseph D. Goldreich of Mount Kisco, NY died at home on Sunday January 18, 2015. He was 89. Born in New York City on October 8. 1925, Joseph was a Mt. Kisco resident for 50 years. Devoted husband of Vivian, they shared a life of family and travel. A graduate of Stuyvesant HS and Union College, a prominent structural engineer in New York, he opened his own practice in 1960 and continued to serve clients until he died. Active in many engineering associations, he is remembered for his involvement with the Concrete Industry Board. An active Boy Scout dad and leader, he received the Silver Beaver Award, Boy Scouts highest honor. Joe also was Grand Marshall of the Chappaqua Memorial Day parade for many years. Joe is survived by his three beloved sons, Peter and his wife Sophia of Shorewood, MN, Andrew of New York City and Matthew and his two children, Jennifer and Jonathon of Irvington, NY. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10 AM at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Pleasantville, NY. Burial will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ.
