Baranowski, Eileen F.*  
Baranowski, Eileen F. Eileen Baranowski of Mahopac and formerly of New Canaan, Ct. passed away on September 18, 2016. She was 86. Born in The Bronx on November 27, 1929 to William P. and Matilda (Leskanic) Fowley. She married Edward T. Baranowski on May 10, 1952 and they were together 50 years when he died January 5, 2003. Both were active in their church, with special dedication to Right To Life. Eileen is survived by her brother Donald Fowley (Jeanne) and her children - Mary Walsh (James), Eileen Smith (Donald), Thomas, Stephen (Elaine), John, and Edward (Catherine), as well as 11 grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was pre deceased by her sister Dorothy Corbin and 2 grandsons and 3 infant great grandchildren. Eileen retired from MONY and she and Ed enjoyed their time between Wellfleet, Cape Cod and West Palm Beach, FL. We will always remember Eileen's beautiful singing voice in church choir. Viewing hours at Joseph Smith Funeral Home on Friday, September 23rd, 4 PM-7PM. Mass Saturday, September 24th, 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Mahopac, followed by burial at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery, Brewster. Barrea, Lisa*  
Barrea, Lisa Lisa Barrea of Chestnut Ridge passed away on September 21, 2016 with her family by her side, after a long battle with Dementia Lewy- Bodies. Lisa came to the United States in 1955 and was the youngest of 9 children. She lived in the Bronx prior to settling in Chestnut Ridge for 29 years. Lisa married her husband Nicola in 1957 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in the Bronx. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who's greatest joy came from her family. Lisa was predeceased by her husband, Nicola, in 2005. She is survived by her son Michael and his wife Marie of Richmond, VA, her daughter Maria and husband Jerry Russo of Chestnut Ridge, NY, and her daughter Anna Carollo of Suffern, NY. Lisa is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; Nicole (Jeffrey), Salvatore Jr., Rosli (Vincent), Joseph (Brittney), Michael (Jenny), John, and Christopher, as well as her sister Rosina Carrozza of Italy. She was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters. Visiting will be held at Higgins Funeral Home in New City on Sunday, September 25, from 12-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 26, at St. Anthony's Shrine in Nanuet at 10am, followed by interment at Ascension Cemetery in Monsey. Shirley Bartnik AGE: 80 • Hobe Sound Shirley Bartnik, age 80 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 14, 2016. A resident of Hobe Sound, FL for the last 33 years, she was formerly of Garrison and Buchanan, NY. Shirley was a very devoted mother, a loving, caring and thoughtful person. For many years Shirley worked as a Traveling Nurse in Florida. She was very devoted to her patients. Shirley is survived by her children: Donna Bartnik, Stephen Bartnik and Christopher Bartnik and a granddaughter Dana Bartnik. Also survived by her former husband, Charles Bartnik and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Scott Bartnik. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016, 10am at St. Christopher's Church, 3094 Albany Post Rd., Buchanan, NY.

Beach, Richard W. Richard W. Beach, 70 yrs, formerly of Peekskill, died September 17, 2016. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a self-employed laborer in the construction industry for many years. He was a resident of Peekskill during the 1970s, and lived in Port Jervis for many years. He is survived by: son; Richard W. Biedermann, Leo E.*  
Biedermann, Leo E. Leo Everett Biedermann, of Pearl River, NY passed on September 23, 2016 surrounded by friends and family. Leo was born March 25, 1939 to Everett C. and Marie Ricker Biedermann in Nyack Hospital. His parents brought him home to live the rest of his life in Pearl River. Leo attended Pearl River Schools from kindergarten to graduation in 1957. He joined "Rocklands Own" NYS Army National Guard while in high school and was federalized with them during the "Berlin Crisis" in 1961 and 1962 and was honorably discharged as a sergeant when his enlistment obligation was fulfilled in 1965. Leo was an enthusiastic motorcyclist since his teenage years and was a successful dirt track and road racer in his twenties. He was an accomplished carpenter and built his own and many homes and additions during Rockland's home building boom. He was an active member of L.U. 964 Carpenters Local for most of his career. Leo enjoyed the outdoors and spent many spare days on camping trips with his son, Bill and wife, Elaine, as well as many friends. He belonged to hunting and fishing clubs both in Clarkstown and Pearl River. Leo enjoyed taking care of his home and grounds where he and Elaine yearly had a vegetable garden. They also made grape jelly and wine and canned vegetables for winter use. Leo was a parishioner of St. Margaret R. C. Church all his life and had a great memory of local history. He had many friends and family that will truly miss him. He was very proud of his son, Bill and his family, Kerri (wife) and children, Ava, Niall and Emmet. He is survived by his wife, Elaine and son, Bill and family. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Visiting is Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Biondi, Agnes M. Agnes M. Biondi of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away peacefully with her family by her side away on Sunday, September 18, 2016. She was 83 years old. Agnes was born on October 27, 1932 in Tarrytown, NY to the late David and Ellen (Mahoney) Tidaback. She worked as a Registered Nurse at White Plains Hospital then at Phelps Memorial Hospital for many years. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Agnes was a longtime parishioner of the Good Shepherd Chapel in Croton-on-Hudson. Her quiet spirit will be greatly missed. She is survived by her beloved children, Joan Aikens (Steve), Jean Zurgot (Ron), Judy Arrigo (Wayne) and Stephen Biondi (Michele); cherished grandchildren, Ron, Stephanie, Emily, Wesley, Tommy, Stephen, Laura, Mary, Nicole, Matthew and her loving great grandson Alex. Visiting will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Thursday, September 22nd at the Good Shepherd Chapel in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Burial will follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
