Colombo, Michael F. Michael Colombo passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2015. He was born to George and May Colombo on October 29, 1925. He is now reunited with his wife Frances of 57 years. He leaves behind his brother Patrick, two sons Michael and William, daughters-in-law Linda and Diane, beloved daughter Christine, son-in-law Anthony and four grandchildren Maria, Crystal, Viktoria and Nicholas. Michael played professional baseball, served honorably in the Navy during WWII, and owned a private livery business in the Bronx. He spent his last nine years in Palm Beach, FL. Michael will be reposing at the Harrison Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 9pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Friday 10am at St. Gregory the Great in Harrison, NY. Condlin, Rita M.*  
Condlin, Rita M. Rita Marion Condlin (Place), 70 of Pearl River, NY passed away August 27, 2015 peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. Mrs. Condlin was born February 1, 1945 in Nyack, NY. She was raised in Blauvelt, NY and attended South Orangetown Schools. She married Patrick A. Condlin April 4, 1970 at St. Catharine's Church, Blauvelt, NY. Mrs. Condlin worked in food services for the same company from 1995 until her retirement in 2014. Surviving Mrs. Condlin is her husband, Pat; daughter, Maryanne of Palisades, NY, her sister, Donna Griffin and husband, Charles of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Mary Elliot Place, father, Don S. Place, two sisters, Sondra Place Sweeney and Sharon Place O' Neil, two brothers Richard and Ronald. Visiting is Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Funeral service is private. Burial will take place at Frederick Loescher Veterans Cemetery. Condreras, Eugene "Gene" Eugene J. "Gene" Condreras, age 56, of Brewster NY, died August 23, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. Gene was born on April 8, 1959 in White Plains, NY to Eugene J. Condreras of Brewster, NY and Elaine (Ruscio) Healy of Sherrills Ford, NC. He graduated from North Salem High School and attended Mercy College. On July 8, 1978, Gene married the love of his life, Judy C. Carpenter at St. James Chapel in North Salem, NY. Together they raised their family in Brewster, NY. Gene worked as an aviation Executive with Panorama Flight Service in Armonk, NY for 40 years before retiring in 2013. Gene was a very spiritual man. He was a very involved member of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster, NY, and enjoyed the time he spent at his parish. Gene was an active evangelist for St. Lawrence and "lead by example", he brought members back to the church. Gene wrote a book about the spiritual side of cancer which was pending publication. Gene's love for his family was also very prominent in his life. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling. Eugene is survived by his parents and wife and also his two children; Michael J. Condreras of Patterson, NY and Christine C. Condreras of Brewster, NY. His two brothers; Kenneth Healy of Chapel Hill, NC and Edmund Condreras of Danbury, CT and his sister Jennifer Dubois of Acworth, GA and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 27, 2015 10:00am at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Brewster, NY, Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave. Brewster today Aug. 25, 2015 from 6pm-8pm and Wednesday Aug. 26, 2015 from 4pm-8pm. Contributions in Gene's memory may be Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY or www.mskcc.org .

Cooley, Leo P.*  
Cooley, Leo P. Leo Patrick Cooley, age 77, of Valhalla, NY, died on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 surrounded by his family. The oldest son of the late Leo and Alice Cooley, Leo was born on July 20, 1938 in Flushing, NY. He left behind his wife, Kathryn Cooley, three children, Stephen Leo Cooley, Ellen Dierdre Cooley and Lawrence Sebastian Cooley, and a granddaughter Lisa Cooley. He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph, Phillip and John Cooley and his sister Mary Kubler. Leo graduated from St Augustine High School in Brooklyn, NY in 1956 and received a BA in English at Fordham University in 1960. He completed his PhD in English and Irish Literature at New York University in 1969. During his 45 years at Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY, he taught Modern British and Irish Literature as well as Creative Writing. He will be sadly missed and remembered for his loving and generous spirit, his gentle nature and his great sense of humor. Reposing at Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, 5 pm to 9 pm. A funeral mass at Holy Name of Jesus Church in Valhalla, NY will be celebrated on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10 am. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y.
