DAVID HACKLEY Obituary

David Russell Hackley, CEO of World Peace Communications, died suddenly on Friday, October 14th at Westchester Medical Center, following heart surgery. Hackley, 48, was a 15-year resident of Somers, NY. Born in Washington, DC on the Fourth of July, David graduated from Princeton University in 1979. He earned his MBA in finance from the University of Chicago in 1981, and spent 17 years at NBC Television in positions of increasing responsibility. When Hackley left NBC, he was Director of Network Finance. He launched his own business in Westchester in 1999. David Russell Hackley is survived by his wife, Dawn Drew; his 15-year old son, Dylan Hackley; his father Dr. Russell E. Hackley of Silver Spring, MD; his sister Patricia Hackley Jones of California, and many loving relatives and friends. Services will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 85 East Main Street, Mt. Kisco, NY on Friday, October 21st at 4 pm. In-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society online in memorial to David R. Hackley (www.cancer.org/asp/donate/don_multi_donate.asp).
