Anthony Quevedo

Quevedo, Anthony

Anthony John Quevedo, 29, of Stony Point, NY and W. Hollywood, CA, left this world on the morning of June 14, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic accident. On this day the world lost an angel.

Anthony was born January 7, 1984 in Yonkers, NY, to Rey and Debbie (Leveroni) Quevedo. Anthony was an avid outdoor adventurer who loved life. He was happiest when speaking of his beautiful daughter Madelyn, his family, and friends. Anthony was a legend in his own mind and eccentric like no other. Anthony's greatest passions were the outdoors and his ability to create beauty within it through his work as an avid gardener. He also expressed his creativity through the art of designing and making unique, handcrafted hats at Louise Green Millinery Co. in Los Angeles, California.

Anthony was a free spirit with a love for photography and a self-proclaimed poet. He lit up any room he walked into and made the world a brighter and happier place to be. He will be cherished and remembered by every soul he touched.

Anthony is survived by his parents Rey and Debbie Quevedo of Stony Point, NY; his loving and precious daughter Madelyn Rae; his maternal grandmother Eleanor Leveroni; his brother, Rey Quevedo and his wife Courtney of New Orleans, LA; his sister Erika Quevedo and her son John; his brother John Quevedo and his daughter Kira; and his uncles, aunts, cousins and many dear friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, 2pm-9pm, at Assuma-Shankey Funeral Home.

A mass of the resurrection Wednesday, 11am, at St. Margaret's Church.

Things will never be the same. Life will never make sense. This is a pain so deep it will never heal. Anthony, the imprint you left on the world has changed lives and will continue to do so.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Anthony's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
