James Alexander D'Agostino died on November 1st, 2012, in Pelham, NY, after a long battle with multiple myeloma. He was born on August 7th, 1948 in Mount Vernon to Antoinette Fusaro and Liberato D'Agostino.
Jim was a career pilot, who flew corporate jets, out of Teterboro Airport in New Jersey for over 40 years. Second only to his family, aviation was his life's passion. He never missed a chance to point at the sky and tell whoever he was with what type of plane was flying overhead.
A dedicated member of the Pelham community, Jim served as a volunteer fireman
for 10 years and as president of the hockey association for 14 years.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathleen D'Agostino; his mother Ann; his three sons, Kris, Chase and Tom; his brother John and sister Annie; and two grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 501 Pelhamdale Avenue, at 4 o'clock in the afternoon in Pelham, NY. All are invited.
