James H. MacRobbie III(1945 - 2013)

MacRobbie, III, James H.

James H. MacRobbie, III, a resident of Tuxedo, NY, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern after a long and debilitating illness. Jim was the son of James H. and Anne D'Onofrio MacRobbie and was born on October 24, 1945 in Tuxedo Hospital. Jim retired in 1998 after working at Suffern Beer Distributors, Geiger Lumber and Kuiken Lumber. He enjoyed summers at the Jersey Shore, vegetable gardening, fishing, watching football either at the field or on TV and tracking through fields with his beagle hunting dogs.

He is survived by his wife; Martha Bell MacRobbie of Tuxedo, his son and daughter-in-law; James and Cherish MacRobbie of Sloatsburg and his beloved triplet grandchildren; James, Tyler and Morgan who will miss "Poppy" dearly. He is also survived by his brother; Tom of Sloatsburg and his three nephews; Todd and his wife; Amber, Scott and his wife; Jen and Derek.

Visitation will be held at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901 on Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 7-9pm & Friday, March 22, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10am with the interment to follow at Brick Church Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
