James Patrick Connolly of Pearl River, NY died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Plaza Regency in Park Ridge, NJ. Mr. Connolly worked as an operator mechanic for the Village of Ridgewood.

Jim was born March 13, 1941 in Queens, NY to James Patrick and Elizabeth Lil Connelly.

He served in the US Air Force from 1961 to 1964 and resided in Pearl River for the past 32 years.

Jim was known by his friends and family for keeping things neat, organized and freshly painted. He especially loved all thing related to Ireland, including his annual St. Patrick's Day party.

He is survived by Chris J. Connolly and wife Katie of Stamford, CT, Jim Connolly and wife Mary of Northvale, NJ, Juliet W. Peterson his lifetime loving partner, step-son Andrew Peterson of Nashville, TN and Kevin Peterson and wife Larayne of Valley Cottage, NY; brother, Les and wife Marie Connolly of Manchester, NJ. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Gavin, Sloane, Christopher, Tyler, James, Thomas and Emma and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Betty Butler Romanelli.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Margaret's R.C. Church Pearl River. Visiting is Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
