Joseph Fiore, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on April 16, 2013. He was 63.
Joseph was born on September 17, 1949 in the Bronx to Nina (Battista) Fiore and the late Sante Fiore. Joseph was an Industrial Designer for many years. He attended Pratt Institute of Technology with a full scholarship and received a Masters in Industrial Design. He was on the design team that produced the first MRI. He designed a telescoping tripod, modern furniture and several other inventions .He was also a modern artist and sculptor. In addition to his devoted mother, he is survived by his two sisters: Marie Marini and Rossana Fiore.
Visiting hours will be Friday, April 19 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday 9:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church.
