Kenneth E. Clarke Sr., a longtime resident of Rockland County and New York, died after complications of a heart condition on March 12, 2013. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Manhattan, N.Y.C. on July 20, 1934. He was the second of three children of Rose and Thomas Clarke Sr. He graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx. He continued his education at N.Y.U. and Rockland Community College. Kenneth proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, from 1955 to 1957 in Korea.

He worked at the New York Stock Exchange as a teletype operator, Local 32B as a Union Delegate, Letchworth Village as an Therapy Aid, and Mercedes-Benz of N.A. as a Teletype Operator. He and his wife retired to Las Vegas in 1997. He is survived by his wife, Gail; his brother, Thom; his sons, Kenneth Jr., Kevin, David; and his daughter, Debra (all of whom grew up in West Haverstraw, N.Y.) of Las Vegas. He cherished his grandchildren, (Kyle, Katelyn, Kagan, Alexa, and Bryce), along with many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was a loving father, husband, uncle and generous friend. He was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a proud member of the Samsondale Alumni.
