Thomas Moore, of the Bronx, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the age of 85. He was a World War 11 Navy Veteran who served his country proudly. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy, and their five children, Thomas Moore of the Bronx and his fiancé, Joanne Keohane, and his daughter Ann Marie, Dorothy and (Steven) Fusaro of Eastchester, and their children Steven, Jacqueline, and Michael, Margaret and (Timothy) Clifford of Chester, and their children Timothy, Brian, Brittany and Stephanie, Virginia and (Kenneth) Stam of Florida, NY, and their children Danielle, Allison, Ryan and Matthew and Jeanette and (William) Torres of Tuckahoe, and their children Gina and Valarie. He is also survived by three great grandchildren: Brandon, Jayson, and Chloe Clifford. Born the fifth child of fourteen, he is survived by four siblings, Mary Segreti, Patrick Moore, Helen Webster and John Moore as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandson, Thomas A. Moore. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Schuyler Hill Funeral Home 3535 East Tremont Avenue Bronx, New York Mon 7-9PM and Tues 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church on Van Nest Ave on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 9:45AM. In honor of him, and in support of our troops (past, present and future), in lieu of flowers, the family favorably requests that donations be made in his name to any Veterans Organization of their choosing.
