Consiglio, Victor Louis, age 84 of Port St. Lucie, Florida, formerly of Suffern, NY, died peacefully at his home on Monday, March 18, 2013. Born in Suffern, NY on April 21, 1928, Victor previously lived and worked in Rockland and Orange County, NY and Bergen County, NJ where he developed and built hundreds of homes including Powder Horn Estates, Iroquois Hills, Orange Terrace Homes and New Vernon Estates. As a young adult, he followed his father, Louis who was a career officer in the Army, and enlisted in 1945. Upon completing his service, he married his first wife, Dorothy, now deceased. He entered the construction industry as an apprentice plumber and eventually opened his own business which led him to his career as a builder and developer.
Surviving is his loving 2nd wife Barbara (nee Dolben), his devoted children dePaul, Donna and her husband Warren Burnett, and Thomas and his wife Judith. Victor also leaves his five loving grandchildren Brian and Kelly Burnett and Michelle, Kelsey and Melanie Consiglio. Victor also leaves two brothers Louis and John.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Family Church, 2330 SE Mariposa Avenue, Port St. Lucie, FL, on Tuesday, March 26 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Foundation, c/o Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL, 34997.
