Zucker, Harry (Zevi)
Zevi Harry Zucker passed away on Wednesday, 21 November 2012, in White Plains Hospital. Born in 1921 in the Land of Israel to Uri and Fruma Zucker, he grew up in Haifa and completed the Bialik gymnasium. He continued his studies via correspondence with the British Institute in London. In 1951, he married Mildred Spiegel and moved the year after to the U.S. He graduated from the Bentley School of Business & Accounting and worked for many years as an accountant - among others as an auditor for the U.S. Department of Navy - and then as an entrepreneur. He lived with his wife in Boston, MA, then, for over forty years, in White Plains, NY. He worked to his last day and was devoted to his family - his wife, his mother (until she passed away), and his sister Zehava and her children. Graveside service will be held at Lindwood Memorial Park, 497 North Street, Randolph, MA 02368, on Sunday, November 25 at 11AM. Survived by his wife Mildred, his brother Aryeh and his wife Chana, his sister Zehava and her husband Moshe Hacohen, his nephews Malachi & Eden Hacohen, and their wives Julie & Naomi, and their children, Hadas and Lilach, Maayan, Royi, Hallel-Uri, Micha and Amitai, and a grand nephew, Benjamin.
