John Meyers Obituary
John Henry Meyers, a longtime resident of Larchmont, passed away at home on January 1, 2014 with his wife and sons by his side. He is survived by his wife, Katherine; beloved sons James and Jeffrey; mother Cecilia Meyers, sisters Susan Asarisi, Nancy Boney, and Kathryn Tonucci, all of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Jeanne Amore.
Born in New Haven, Connecticut, on March 15, 1954, John received B.A. and M.A. degrees in communications from Fordham University. He began his career at The New Haven Journal-Courier, later joining Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. (now part of JP Morgan Chase) in New York City, where he served as a public relations executive for 21 years. He then served as vice president and public relations director to Alliance Bernstein L.P. from which he retired in 2012.
Visiting Sunday 3-6 PM at the John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. Larchmont, NY. Funeral service Monday 10 AM in the funeral home. Interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, NY.

It was with great sadness that I learned of John's passing today. He was a great friend and colleague. The Finn family sends its condolences to Kathy and the family. I'm just glad that I was able to spend time with him over a wonderful lunch this past Fall. Godspeed, John.
