Raymond Goetz Obituary
Sloatsburg - Raymond Richard Goetz Jr. of Sloatsburg NY passed away January 8, 2018 at the age of 66. Born December 15, 1951 in Yonkers, NY to the late Raymond Richard Goetz Sr. and Eileen Ferguson. He was a graduate of Manhattan Prep, Herbert H. Lehman College and Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University where he earned his Doctorate degree in Experimental Psychology. He worked for over 43 years at NYS Psychiatric Institute as a research Data Analyst, as an assistant Professor of Research and the NY University School of Medicine as a research Statistician. Raymond was a devoted and loving husband and an amazing dad, He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Debbi, his son Justin, and daughter Julie, his four brothers, Steven, James, Michael, and Brian, and his sister Diane (Scott). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern. Friends are invited on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Scarr Funeral Home Inc., Route 202, Suffern.

Dear Debbi and Family,
There are no words of sympathy I can express at this time. I am so happy I had the opportunity to find your forever home. I know it was shared with so much happiness and love. Ray was so special, one of the nicest people I ever meet. May you all be strong because that's what Ray would want.
