Ronald Savaria Obituary
Ronald Savaria of Pompano Beach, FL and formerly of Tarrytown died April 29, 2017 at the age of 77. Born in Cohoes, NY on February 1, 1940, he was the son of Herman A. and Antoinette LaForest Savaria. He graduated from Cohoes High School in 1957 and from The Simmons School of Mortuary Science and Embalming in the Spring of 1959.
Ron came to Tarrytown in the Fall of 1962 when he accepted a job as a Funeral Director at Coffey Funeral Home. He remained with Coffey Funeral Home until 2002 when he retired after 40 years. In the Spring of 2003, he relocated to Pompano Beach where he enjoyed his retirement and lived life to the fullest. He was a Life Active Member and former president of Washington Engine Co#2 of the Tarrytown Fire Department. He will be remembered as a kind and compassionate funeral director who always did his best to help families through difficult times. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed the company of his many friends here and in Florida. He will be missed.
Ron is survived by Robert Koderisch and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Marylin Stoliker and Phyllis Garabaldi and his brother Arthur Savaria.
There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday May 5 at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church, Sleepy Hollow. There will be no visitation. To leave condolences, visit www.coffeyfuneralhome.com

I just found out ... I am sorry... Ron was a wonderful man ...I remember him from the late 70s to the early 90's before I moved to California ... Rest In Peace Ron. Thanks for the memories
