Both my husband, Bruce Suhr, and I have great memories of Sr. Marion Rita and the whole OLPH community. It was a tremendous education and an incredibly supportive environment. She went straight to heaven after putting up with us. Nancy Mcauley-Suhr

She was my very first teacher. When I came home from school the very first day, I told my mother that I had a very nice teacher and she smelled so clean.

I have fond memories of Sr. Marion Rita, my teacher at OLPH for 1st & 2nd grade. As a child I though is was unusual that she knew what was going on in my life at home, until I found out later in life that her father worked with my father. Scary then, funny now.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

You were my second grade teacher at OLPH and one of the best teachers I had. You influenced many and will be missed by many.

My second grade teacher at OLPH('60-'61).She had the most influence on me of any of my teachers because she was able to be both strict and loving at the same time.I know that I speak for my entire class of '67 when I say that she will be dearly missed.
