Thomas Turiano Obituary
Thomas Gregory Turiano passed away suddenly on March 30th, 2016. He was born on March 29th, 1993, the son of David and Margaret Courtney Turiano. Tommy was raised in Rye, NY with his younger siblings Courtney and Patrick. He is the proud grandson of Bridie and Tom Courtney of White Plains, NY and Stephanie and the late Augustine Turiano of Port Chester, NY. Tommy is the nephew of Sharon (Paul) Zaicek, Thomas (Ginette) Courtney, Steve Turiano, Gary (Lynn) Turiano, and the late Tommy Turiano. He is also survived and loved by numerous cousins, Jennifer and Christina Turiano, Evan and Mikey Turiano, Thomas and Allison Courtney, and Kevin, Aidan, JP and Lily Zaicek, Tommy's cherished Goddaughter. Tommy graduated from Rye High School in 2011, and was currently enrolled at Manhattan College in their business program. Tommy's favorite place was Long Beach Island, NJ where he would surf for hours and work at the famous Chowder Hut. Tommy was passionate about music, snowboarding and skateboarding. Tommy touched the lives of many with his warm smile and big heart. He was loved for his affectionate personality and his loyalty. Tommy was a wonderful son and brother who brought love and warmth to all of us, he will be missed dearly. Tommy's family will receive friends and family on Sunday at the Graham Funeral Home in Rye, NY from 3 PM to 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at the Church of the Resurrection at 10 AM.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me".
