Listening to Mr Osser´s arrangements on Johnny Mathis´ album "HEAVENLY". In my humble opinion the most beautifully arranged side of music ever. From Misty to That´s All. A masterpiece of sound. Lush, lyrical, subtle, never over powering the singer or the intent of the song itself. What ears he must have had. This side of music is the reason that I began singing professionally for 40 years and to this day it will ALWAYS stand alone as the most inspirational, romantic example of what is both possible and perfect in music. What I wouldn´t have given to meet Mr. Osser. Rest in sound, you will never be forgotten.
