When I glanced up at the sky tonight I saw a shooting star. I know it was you letting me know you're resting easy now. You were my first love and you'll always have a piece of my heart.
Love always, Shane.

If I could

Wish I could give you many more years,
Hold you, comfort you and dry your tears.

Wish I could tell you it will be all right
Be strong, listen up, put up the good fight

But God called this day to take you home
The answers to our why - remain unknown.

To find solace I imagine you way up there
In a place without a worry or care

Sitting amongst the moon and shining stars
Smiling and watching over us from afar.

I can see your sweet smile- a radiant glow
As you whisper this to loved ones below

I wish I could give you many more years
Hold you, comfort you, and dry your tears

Believe I am happy and live without fear
I know how you love me, and I'll always be near.
