Gremli, Edmund M.

Edmund M. Gremli, 90, formerly of Westminster Manor, 81 South St., Auburn, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at Finger Lakes Center for Living. Born in Pearl River, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Lillian Gessner Gremli. Edmund was a WWII Army veteran and a graduate of Pearl River High School. He and his late wife, Sylvia lived in Pearl River, NY, where he worked for Fred L. Holt, Inc. for 43 years as a carpenter and supervisor. Following his 1984 retirement, they moved to High Point, NC before residing in the Auburn area. He was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giant Fan and enjoyed playing golf well into his eighties.

Surviving are two sons, Edmund C. Gremli and his wife Nancy of Moravia and Jack L. Gremli and his wife Carol of Pearl River; a brother, Kenneth Gremli of NJ; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia Seigel Gremli, in 1998.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, Nov. 18 from 11am-1pm at Langham Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 1pm. A private family burial is planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Edmund's memory may be made to Westminster Manor.
