Wow I could not believe what I had heard. I am so so sorry. I think out of everyone from Lake Ave., you would be the last to go. I have known you since I was 12. You represent what was special about North Yonkers. I love you and will miss you along with so many others. God Bless you. Love. Barbara Imp (Torpey)

To The Sacco Family,
From an easy age when we first met I shared many a day and night hanging out on Lake Ave. with Bobby (Hoagy Hut, Sam Rudnick's, Herman's Deli, Joe Madden's to name a few) not to mention playing baseball in Lennon Park on that same Phelps Dodge team. All great memories. A good guy gone too soon. Rest In Peace, Bob.

I am shocked and saddened to hear the news of the loss of my lifelong friend Bobby Sacco. We were friends since we were little boys running around the fields on Lake Avenue, sharing an apartment over the 140 Club on Voss Avenue, playing ball with the Lakers and sharing countless good times and laughs over many many years. I will miss you my brother and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Rest in Peace

To the Sacco family- Bobby was someone we liked very much for many years, whether it was through him as a coach for the NYBC Little League or through the years at any family gathering. He was always so nice to us, always having something nice (or funny)to say.
May God grant all His Love and Mercy to you during this time.
