THOMAS V. FARRELL

Thomas V. Farrell, 94, of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y., died peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on December 11, 2010, after a brief illness.Tom was born July 19, 1916 in Greenwich, CT to Michael and Mary Ann (McGlynn) Farrell.He was a graduate of Rye High School and New Yrok University.Tom worked for J.P.Morgan Chase for fifty-two years as a vice-president in the commericial lending area. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World Was II at the Battle of the Bulge and received a citation from President Harry Truman. Tom was an active member of Coveleigh Club in Rye for thirty-six years. He is survived by his devoted wife of sixty years, Jean (Kelly) Farrell of Briarcliff Manor and their loving daughter, Barbara of Chappaqua. He was predeceased by his sister Anne Dianni of Rye and his brother William Farrell of West Haven,CT. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18 at St. Theresa's Church, Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. Private burial.
