Mulhall, Jeremiah J.

Jeremiah J. Mulhall, was born in New York City on February 9, 1922. He was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Mulhall, his sister Mary and his brother Patrick. He is survived by his children, Sean and his wife Julie, Kathleen and her husband Andrew, Thomas and his wife Yeon, and Patrick and his wife Patricia, and also by his grandchildren Alyssa, John, Sean Thomas, Maggie and Megan, and by his sisters Alice and Catherine. He served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan. He married Marilyn K. Brady in April 1951 and remained married until her death on August 8, 2008. He worked for more than 30 years for the Home Insurance Company. At the time of his retirement, he was the Chief Underwriter and Executive Vice President. He also taught at the College of Insurance. His interests included his family, walking, discussing politics, most sports but especially horse racing, baseball and football. He was a lifelong fan of the NY football Giants and a fan of the New York Mets. He was a faithful member of St. Paul's Parish, Congers for more than forty years. Visitation will be held at Sorce Funeral Home, 728 West Nyack Road, West Nyack, NY on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00PM. Family and friends may gather at Sorce Funeral Home on Saturday at 9AM to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 82 Lake Road West, Congers, NY. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Route 9W, Haverstraw, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Hospice of Rockland.
