Reid Kasunic Obituary
Reid Kasunic of White Plains, NY, formerly of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015. He was 22 years old.
Reid was born on August 25, 1992 to Roger and Inez (Andrucyk) Kasunic in White Plains, NY.
With a 3.8 grade average he was about to move from Westchester Community College into Stonybrook University to complete a bachelors degree in computer programing.
He is survived by his beloved parents; step-father, Charles Zychal caring brothers, Cullen Kasunic and Christopher Zychal; Grandmother Claire Kasunic and Grandparents Stanley and Janice Andrucyk; his aunts, uncles, their husbands, wives and many loving cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22nd from 7-9pm and Friday, January 23rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. The Memorial Service will be held there later on Friday, January 23rd at 8pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Reid's name can be made to: St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester, Addiction Recovery Services.

Reid...I can't believe I am writing this..I have some very fond memories of you and wish there would be more but alas that is not the case. I won't forget Jeffrey's birthday party at Palisades Mall on the climbing adventure or meal after at YardHouse. I was looking for pictures but sadly you weren't in any that I had posted on FB..I will be looking for the sd card.. Dear Inez, Cullen, & Roger, Our words are not adequate to express the sorrow we feel for your loss. Reid was a great kid and we have a lot of fond memories watching him grow up. He enjoyed the holiday visits with our family and was full of love. He always gave us hugs as well as saying that he loved us. It is with my sincere condolences , that I wish your family not only the strength that this time in need brings but that our heavenly father bless you with his loving and comforting grace. Reid was a good friend of my brother's and a friend of mine throughout the years. I grew up down the street from him on Mt. Airy and he was always on my bus in elementary and middle school. I always admired him from afar and remember smiling and laughing at his jokes, goofiness and fun loving spirit. I had the pleasure of seeing him a couple times in december over at my house and hanging out at a friend of my brothers house. Although we weren't that close, i was always a big fan of Reid's. I saw a person in him who was so accepting, positive and open-minded. He possessed an aura and demeanor that many people never find in their lifetime. Although he lived somewhat of a short life, it seemed like he soaked in every moment. He was loved by so many people, and will be missed and cherished forever! he would want everyone to remain happy and stay true to themselves. With that being said, i will remember him fondly and smile whenever i do, letting his energy live on through my own. Thank you Reid, for what you brought to the world! :)
