Edward Cowles Obituary
Edward F. Cowles, Jr. (Ted) of New Rochelle, NY died peacefully on June 5, 2015 at the Schaffer Extended Care Center. Edward was born on October 4, 1920 in Port Chester, NY, the eldest Son of Edward and Mable (Comstock) Cowles. He was predeceased by both parents and two brothers, Russell and Douglas. Edward graduated from Port Chester High School and Columbia University. He lived all of his adult life in New Rochelle, NY. Edward worked for McGraw Hill as a proof Reader until his retirement. Family and friends will honor the life of Edward on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 from 9:30am to 10:30am at the George Davis Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery.
