Thinking of you all, on this anniversary.
I think of how different your Dad's political views and my Dad's were, and how much my Dad appreciated and respected your father. He was so grateful for your father's kindness and attention. They were good models to us. Lots of love to Lud's wonderful family. With best wishes, Joan Broderick

Uncle Lud was a remarkable man who loved his family very much. When I was 10 or 11 my brother and I bet with him on who would win the Super Bowl. My brother and I picked the winning team. Uncle Lud sent each of us a signed letter congratulating us on our victory. Taped to each of our letters was a very shiny dime! My condolences to Aunt Gay and all my cousins.

I will never forget what a wonderful friend and neighbor Mr. Ludington was to my father when he was sick.
He was amazing...a very kind, positive, and thoughtful man. His visits meant so much. I'm very sorry for your loss.
