ADELINE TARANTO Obituary

TARANTO, ADELINE M.

Adeline M. Taranto, 96, of Bedford, NY formerly of Greenwich, CT died Friday, March 11, 2011 at Somers Manor Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Mary Taranto and Virginia (Jean) Bochichio, and by her beloved husband, Anthony Taranto, who died in 1982. She is survived by two daughters, Eleanor Hertel of Watertown, WI and Joyce DiNapoli of Albuquerque, NM.

She also survived by three granddaughters, two grandsons, three great grandchildren, two great- great grandchildren and her sister, Vera. Mrs. Taranto was a loving and devoted wife to Anthony Taranto to whom she was married to for over 50 years. A devout Catholic, she always kept the Lord in her life and loved watching special television services presided over by the Pope. Adeline was a kind and generous woman who loved her family. She shared love through care giving and cooking. She loved animals, game shows and to laugh. May she rest in eternal peace. Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 16 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 17 at St. Mary of the Assumption R C Church, 117 Valley Road, Katonah, NY. Entombment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley
